What we collect

The notice text you paste, your intake answers, the drafts and revision history generated for each case, and basic account details (email address, plan, and payment status). If you contact us directly, we also keep the message and reply.

Why we collect it

To classify your violation type, generate and revise your Plan of Action, let you return to a case where you left off, and process payment for a case or subscription. Aggregated, de-identified outcomes — never full notice text — help us improve the guidance for each violation type.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. A limited set of processors handle it on our behalf, each only for the purpose below: DeepSeek (the AI provider that classifies notices and drafts appeal text), Stripe (payment processing for case and subscription purchases), Firebase (account authentication), and SMTP2GO (delivering sign-in links and transactional email). Each is bound by its own data-processing terms; we don't use any of them for advertising.

How long we keep it

Case data is kept for as long as your account exists, so you can return to a case, request a revision, or re-download a draft. Deleting a case or your account removes the underlying records — see "Your control" below.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest in our database. Access to production data is limited to what's needed to operate and support the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection against a determined attacker.

Your control

Delete any single case's data from that case's settings, or delete your full account from /settings — both remove the underlying records, not just hide them from view. You can also request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us through the contact page.

Cookies

We use only the minimum cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember an in-progress case — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

AppealPilot is intended for business use by Amazon sellers and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date below and, where practical, notify account holders by email.

No guarantees

AppealPilot does not promise reinstatement. The document you submit to Amazon, and every statement in it, is your responsibility.
